Tasting notes: Cherry, caramel, cocoa, red apple with a velvety body and balanced acidity.

We’ve had a lot of interest in this coffee, Peru Café Minca. The very first coffee I roasted was also from Peru and I’ve tried several since but nothing has measured up to the Minca samples we tried. Our light test roast drinks like a medium, so if you are typically a dark roast drinker this one might be nice to try. It is pretty low in acidity and has some pleasant melon flavors hiding in there. We anticipate that this will be a lovely easy drinking coffee.

This coffee is known as “Minca” which we are told means the social bond of the community.
